Dearly Beloved in Christ, Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, “Encourage one another daily” 1 Thess.5:11 e are quick to notice the defects, faults and unpleasant facts of life, but the grace to dwell on the pleasant and good things of life often go unnoticed. We must remember in life’s vicissitudes that it is God’s grace that gives us all things, many of which we take for granted. W B e an encourager! To encourage others is a Christian virtue. To take note of the good things they do, and, appreciate them, shows the largeness of one’s own heart. Only one who loves God deeply can appreciate the goodness in others. To love is to take risks, to expose our hearts and to be vulnerable. Sometimes love hurts. It hurt Christ, but He kept on loving, even at the cost of His life. Therefore, to love is to be Christ-like. CONVENTION We are arranging a Bible Convention this year in the following days and place. Venue: All Saints Anglican Church, Cnr Victoria Road and Elizabeth Street, North Parramatta. Date: March 26 & 27 Friday and Saturday. Time: 7pm to 9.00pm I n his book, Secrets from the Mountain, Patrick Williams tells of an experiment with a group of students. They were told that scientists had proven that brown-eyed students were smarter than blue-eyed ones. Immediately, the brown-eyed students began doing better in School. Similarly, there are booster words, but these can be given to all, at any time and in any place. Such booster words specially encourage children, spouses, those who work for us – employees, subordinates, and the handicapped.
