of chemistry, Qatar University.

Worked as chemistry teacher in NEW MIDDLE EAST INTERNATIONAL School,
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

June 2008 to Sep 2008
Deputed to Qatar petroleum corporate training centre as chemistry instructor
for 3 months short term course. Was teaching GCSE syllabus for foundation
programme of UK.

Oct. 2007 to June 2008
Part time faculty in the Department of Chemistry, Qatar University, Doha,
Qatar.

Feb. 2006 to July 2007
Research Associate in the department of Medicinal Chemistry at B.V.Patel
Pharmaceutical Education Research and Development centre (PERD),
Ahmedabad.
During this tenure was awarded Women Scientist Fellowship by highest
scientific funding organization of government of India, DST (Department of
Science and Technology) for the project proposed by me entitled, “DESIGN AND
SYNTHESIS OF NOVEL CARBAZOLE DERIVATIVES AS POTENTIAL
ANTICANCER AGENTS”
Department profile:
The Work in the laboratory involves design, synthesis and pharmacological
evaluation of new chemical lead based heterocyclic derivatives, as potentially
active molecules in different therapeutic areas (viz. inflammation, atypical antipsychotics, adenosine receptor antagonists, anti-bacterial etc.)
