On the foreland formed by the confluence of Utyanka and Big Karaganka rivers existed the bronze Age protected settlement Arkaim. The Arkaim reserve is the unique trace and artefact of the ancient civilization (XVIIXVI centuries B.C.) and it is very valuable for the world science. In the exposed steppe the ancient world is located: Menhir Alley, Middle Age sculptures, Neolithic house with interior, Wind mill and others. Main attractions are the Temir mound – reconstruction of a nomads family tomb (V-IV B.C.) and of course the Arkaim Settlement itself. In the ancient handicrafts museum different master classes are conducted: pottery, weaving, wickerwork, stone tools production. The Arkaim Reserve is opened from May, 10th to October, 30th. Visitors can stay in a hotel, a caravan or a tent. Facilities: shower, parking, tourist and sport equipment for rent, dinning, variety of excursions. Timing – 2 or 3 days.
