You must design, create, and a PowerPoint presentation to teach your peers. Use this rubric to your advantage to receive full credit. Good luck! Name of the Kingdom Pictures (drawn or printed) of the kingdom (at least 3) Cell type – Prokaryote or Eukaryote Energy type – Producer, Consumer, or Both Students will create a PowerPoint presentation to teach on their kingdom. The PowerPoint will be in bullets or sentences. The presentation will show time and effort. All group members must equally participate in the lecture (every member must speak during the presentation). Kingdom Facts (to be included in the PowerPoint slide show). Type of cell (Prokaryote or Eukaryote) Energy type (Producer, Consumer, or Both) Unicellular, Multicellular, or Both Reproduction (sexual/asexual) Include the following: Domain Archaea, Domain Bacteria, Eukarya, Kingdoms: Fungi, Protista, Plantae, Animalia Students will research and identify at least 1 species that belongs to each kingdom (Fungi, Protista, Plantae, Animalia). Include interesting species (land, water, etc). Each kingdom that you choose a species for will have it’s own slide in the PowerPoint and include: What is the name? Where does it live? What does it eat? Interesting facts? Kingdom Purpose Students will answer the following questions on the last page of the PowerPoint slide show: Why is your kingdom important for life on Earth? How does your kingdom help/harm humans? (Give examples) What would happen if your kingdom did not exist? How would planet Earth be different? Choose 2 Domains or Kingdoms to discuss a current event (each with its own slide) Students will create a 4 question quiz to accompany their lesson. Students must turn in a quiz answer sheet the day of their presentation. You will be required to grade ALL quizzes. Students will create 3 multiple choice test questions for their topic to be added to the test on classification. 9) Students are REQUIRED to use at least five sources, all sources must be cited in the presentation.
