At the Gate D, CNU students will guide new incoming students to take a limousine bus to get to Gwangju Express Bus Terminal. The bus ticket costs approximately 30,900 KRW (USD 30.00). It will take about 4 hours to get to Gwangju Express Bus Terminal. When they arrive in Gwangju Express Bus Terminal, CNU students will take them to CNU dormitory and help them move-in procedure. □ Health Insurance It is compulsory that incoming students purchase overseas insurance in their home country. If they already have insurance from their home country, they are advised to bring proof of coverage when they come to CNU. Alternatively, students should purchase the insurance in Korea; full coverage for international students costs around 170,000 KRW (USD 155.00) for a year and 100,000 KRW (USD 90.00) for a semester. □ Visa Requirement Successful applicants will receive a Certificate of Admission from CNU. Students are needed to apply for a Student Visa (D-2) at Korean embassy/consulate located in their home country.
