This show is open to 4-H enrolled members, including neighboring counties, as well as general public.
It is mandatory attendance for Jefferson County 4-H members.

member thereof will not be responsible for any loss or damage or injury to rider/horse exhibited, or for
any article of any kind that may be lost or destroyed or in any way injured.

GENERAL INFORMATION & RULES

Helmets: All exhibitors must wear an approved ASTM helmet and boots while mounted.

Training equipment is allowed at the judge's discretion.

All entries must be in writing and signed by the owner or authorized agent. Entry fees must
accompany entry. Parent or guardian must sign for exhibitor under age 18.

Washington State 4-H performance and gaming rules will apply (EM 4753) The judge's
decision in all classes will be final.

Class divisions are: Senior gr. 9-12
Junior gr. 3-5
Intermediate gr. 6-8
Novice (1st or 2nd year of showing and never having won a
blue in that class.)

Entry fees: Pre-entry (post dated on or before July 22) is $4.00 per class or $40.00 for all day.
Day of show entry is $5.00 per class or $50.00 for all day. Late entries will be accepted by the
show secretary up to 1/2 hour before that class begins.

Awards: The show will be judged on the Danish system.

Changes: Show management reserves the right to combine or cancel unfilled classes or divide
classes as entries warrant. Exhibitors will be advised if classes are combined, cancelled, or
divided. Exhibitors in combined classes will be judged separately.

Conduct: Show management reserves the right to reject any entry of any exhibitor or the
participation of any agent, trainer or rider who acts in a manner deemed improper, unethical, or
dishonest, abusive or intemperate.

Horse Trailer Parking: Horse trailers should be parked to the side of the horse barns on the
grass by the round pen.

Stalls: All exhibitors using a stall are expected to clean them before leaving the grounds after
the show. Also, please help us keep our fairgrounds clean - pick up after your horses!

Supervision: Any participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone 21 years
of age or older. Chaperones must be at the fairgrounds.

Horses cannot be left unattended at the fairgrounds at any time.

No riding double.

No riding horses on the road or unauthorized areas.
