Overview of Program:
This one-year Eden Energy Medicine Foundations Program (EEMFP), located in
Encinitas, CA, is designed for those people interested in learning the fundamental
principles and methods of Eden Energy Medicine. Year 1 provides the foundation for
those participants who desire one or more of the following:
• Integrate EEM methods into their professional practice
• Enhance their efforts as care-givers with family and friends
• Expand their self-care skills to build a resilient energy system
• Enroll in Year 2 and to become an Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner

This program is based on a curriculum developed by Donna Eden, along with her faculty
members. The goal of the program is to help any student of Eden Energy Medicine obtain
a firm foundation in the body of work Donna has created over the past 30 years, and to
develop the skill levels necessary to begin using these techniques regularly, either with
oneself, family and friends, or in a professional setting.
The Year 1 EEMFP will be taught by Kim Wedman, Faculty Member for the EEMCP
Year-2 Certification Program in Phoenix, AZ, Faculty for the EEM European
Foundations Program, and Senior Energy Medicine Advanced Practitioner. The main
purpose of Year 1 is educational and will include lecture, hands-on practice, and question
and answer sessions. The program is designed to provide you with skills for working with
the body’s energies in order to promote physical and emotional well being.
After successful completion of the Encinitas Foundations Program, students will have the
opportunity to enroll in the second year of the Two-Year Eden Energy Medicine
Certification Program (EEMCP), in Phoenix, Arizona.
Participants who complete the Year 1 EEMFP will receive a document verifying their
completion of 100+ hours of training in Eden Energy Medicine. However, to become a
Certified Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner, students must complete Year Two of the
EEMCP Program.
A graduate of the two-year program may use the title, “Eden Energy Medicine Certified
Practitioner” and be listed on the Innersource website (www.innersource.net).

Lodging: Accommodations are on your own in Encinitas. Kim suggests the
Moonlight Beach Hotel (www.moonlightbeachmotel.com) for its proximity
to class and reasonable rates. You will be responsible for making your own
reservations.
Meals:
There will be a 1.5 hour lunch break on Fridays and Saturdays.
Students will be responsible for bringing or purchasing their own meals.
There will be ample time for students to walk to a variety of wonderful
restaurants near by.
Structure:
The Year 1 EEMFP consists of four quarterly classes, which begin
at 1:30pm on Thursday and end at 2:30pm on Sunday. Each module totals
26 classroom hours.
All classes include a combination of teaching and practice time. Supervision
and testing are required following each class. Students will complete an
open book written test and a competency demonstration after each class.
Students have two options to do their demonstrations:
1. Present their demo in a pre-scheduled, live session with Kim Wedman.
2. Perform their demo via Skype in a pre-scheduled session with Kim
Wedman.
Students opting to perform their demo via Skype will need the Skype
software (free download), a computer with a video camera, and high speed
internet access so the teacher can watch the demonstration remotely in real
time.
Prerequisites: There are NO prerequisites for entering the Year 1 EEMFP.
However, students are required to purchase and either read or view the
following materials before Class 1.
• Energy Medicine book (2008) by Donna Eden
• Energies of Love DVD (not required if you’ve attended this class “live”
with Donna and David)
• Ethics Handbook for Energy Healing Practitioners by David Feinstein
• Nine Energy Systems DVD

Continuing Education Credits For Year 1 EEMFP
The following CEs are available:
A. Massage - both National (NCBTMB) and State of California.
Innersource is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic
Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Approved
Provider. (Provider number: 450052-06.)
If you register for Year 1 EEMFP, you can receive 26 Contact Hours (CHs)
per class. CE cost is $50 per year payable with your Class #1 tuition.
B. Nursing – American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA). 104 contact
hours (CH’s) to be awarded upon completion of the four class EEMFP
program. Cost is $50 payable with your Class #1 tuition.
-This continuing nursing education activity was approved by
the
American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA), an
accredited
approver by the American Nurses Credentialing
Center’s Commission
on Accreditation (COA).
C. Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) - 26
ACEP CEs per class. Innersource is an ACEP CE Provider.
Tuition:
Year 1 EEMFP tuition is $3,980.00 ($995.00 per quarter/per class).
Tuition can be paid in full or quarterly one month prior to each class.
A $300 non-refundable deposit is required up front for all students and will
be applied to your Class 4 Tuition. Both Checks and Credit Cards are

Tuition Covers:
All of your class handouts, conference space, teaching staff, small group
supervision, written test with review, and one-hour live or Skype
demonstration of skills following each class. Meals, lodging and
transportation are at the student’s expense.

The cost of tuition is guaranteed for the current year.
Financial Aid:
If you need financial assistance for the Energy Medicine Foundations
Program, we suggest you seek “sponsors” for a contribution to your
“Educational Fund” to support your training. You will be learning enough
Energy Medicine to give sessions after the first class. Two sponsors who are
willing to receive a weekly (or 4 sponsors every other week) Energy
Medicine session at $38/session will come close to covering your tuition.
Both you and your sponsors will benefit greatly. The sponsor will be quite
fortunate to have a weekly Energy Medicine session at a very reasonable
cost, and you will get valuable practice for your studies. Remember you are
asking for a contribution for your “Educational Fund.”
Length:
Upon completion of the Year 1 EEMFP, students have the option to pursue
certification by attending Classes 5-8 in Phoenix, AZ.
Year Two is optional, but will be required in order to become an Eden
Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner.

Full attendance is required at all classes to receive certificate of
completion and to move on to Year 2 Certification Program.
Audit Track:
This track is for Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioners who have
successfully completed all requirements of the EEMCP including their
graduation demo or for an EEMCP student desiring to repeat a class. These
students will have an opportunity to review information that is foundational
to the practice of energy medicine within a group environment and
experience a different teaching style. No testing or demonstrations will be
required. This option does not include any supervision or mentoring time
following each class.
Faculty:
Kim Wedman will be teaching and facilitating the Encinitas Eden Energy
Medicine Foundations Program.
Kim Wedman is one of the original three protégés of Donna Eden when she
was still in private practice, before any books were written or the
Certification was even conceived. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist of
25 years, Eden Energy Medicine Advanced Practitioner, an original Faculty
member of Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine Certification Program in
Phoenix, and a Faculty Member of the new Eden Energy Medicine European
Foundations Program.
Her private practice is Energy Medicine USA LLC, and is located in Kansas
City, MO. She also sees private clients when she teaches in Encinitas,
California. She was born and raised in California and still has much of her
family in Southern California. Kim integrates a variety of energetic,
emotional and therapeutic bodywork techniques. She believes in
empowering the client through education and participation in their own
healing process to awaken each human being’s innate gift of intuition. The
human body knows how to heal itself, when we provide a safe environment
and space to do it.
Health Requirements:
The main purpose of this class is educational. The class is designed to
provide you with skills for working with the body’s energies to promote
physical and emotional wellbeing. This can be an intense experience, and
doing energy work in a large group can be taxing, so if you are not in good
health, we ask you to take this into account before registering.
The class itself is an interactive, large-group training event, and we ask you
to set your expectations accordingly.
During small group time you will be practicing the Energy Medicine
techniques you have just learned on another student and then receive an
Energy Medicine exchange as well. There will be approximately 50%
lecture and demonstration time and 50% small group time
