Hi. My name is Wayne Hedlund and I am one of the pastors at Elim Gospel Church. I want to thank you for agreeing to be a mystery guest during an upcoming Sunday service.
It is our sincere hope that your input will help us evaluate the guest experience at our church from the moment you drive into the parking lot until you leave.
It is really important to us that we learn from you and others like you so that we can improve the overall experience, allowing it to be a friendly and welcoming place when other guests attend. Since I serve as a Pastor it is particularly hard for me and our other leaders to view church from the perspective of someone who does not attend Elim Gospel
Church. Please do us the favor of being brutally open and honest with your feedback.
In order to help you be open and honest I give you my personal commitment to do everything possible to keep your input completely anonymous. The person who recruited you for this position has been instructed to have little to no interaction with you when you visit our church. Additionally, no one besides this individual will know of your identity, including myself and any other attendee at Elim Gospel Church. Finally, to allow open communication with your recruiter in the future, he or she will not be privy to your responses. Once you have mailed in the below feedback form I will notify your recruiter and he or she will arrange to pay you the promised $50.00.
Feel free to visit our church on any Sunday within the next 4 weeks. I urge you to jot down notes to yourself on what you are evaluating and put them in a notebook or a Bible if you have one for quick reference. As a mystery guest it is critical that no one is aware of your position as a “secret evaluator”. The moment someone discovers your role it’s possible they would treat you differently than they would a regular guest, thus skewing your overall experience.
