Support for Superintendent of Venice Beach Park
Dear Councilmember Bonin:
This will advise that at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Venice Neighborhood
Council’s (VNC) Board of Officers on February 17, it was moved and passed by the
Venice Neighborhood Council as follows:
MOTION:
The Venice Neighborhood Council recommends that the Mayor include in the
proposed 2015-2016 City Budget he sends to City Council a line item in the
Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP) Budget for a "Superintendent of
Venice Beach Park" as suggested by RAP.
A letter shall be sent Eric Garcetti, Mayor, City of Los Angeles; Michael Shull,
Acting General Manager, RAP; Kevin Regan, Assistant General Manager, RAP;
Mike Bonin, 11th District City Council Member, and the members of the LA City
Council Budget Committee
ACTION: Motion made by Marc Saltzberg, seconded by Jed Pauker. Motion approved
16-0-1.
