PAPER 1
Author, Title:
Improving Direct-Mapped Cache Performance by the Addition of a Small FullyAssociative Cache and Prefetch Buffers

Is the paper well organized?
Paper is well organized. Format of text and alignment is according to general paper
format. In the abstract many small paragraphs are written ideally abstract should be in
one paragraph. Figures are quite clearly shown but sometime it is not properly aligned.
Some paragraphs are short and some are long. Overall material written is in well form.
Comment the following sections (if present):
 Title,
Title is clearly mentioned and author’s electronic contact is not mentioned.
 Abstract,
Abstract is written in many paragraphs; preferably it should be in one paragraph.
It is summarizing problems and described the solution in end of the abstract.
 Introduction,
Introduction is well written with statistical pictorial description. It is well managed
and in organized manner. It is explaining the background of the paper and
significance of problem solution.
 Main section(s),
Main section is written fine it is covering topic with graphical and statistical
aspects of related topics. Sometime graphical representation is not clearly viewed
because of complexity.
 Summary,




Conclusions, and
Conclusion written is comprehensive with pictorial description. In general papers
conclusion is specific and up to the ending result. It is long written and elaborating
things as described in main secession. It is describing related work and future
enhancement of technique.
References.
References are quite well papers have reference like [ ] describe reference
number but it is not mentioning like this. In all paper material I was not easy to
find reference on paper. So paper should have clearly mentioned where
reference is mentioned for any particular secession of paper.
Comment on the language used in the paper.
Over all paper is not good as it should be because references are not clearly mentioned
in the text of paper. Language of paper is bit difficult to understand. Abstract is too long
usually it should not be as much. Finally conclusion should be precise and specific to
resulting aspect.
General comments to the paper.
Generally it is good and technical user can easily get knowledge about their perspective
material.

Is the paper well organized?
This assignment is well organized format of paper is according to standard IEEE format.
Sometime paragraphs are short. Equations and graphical pictorial representation are
described and mentioned properly. Overall outlook of paper is well organized.

 Title,
Title is written well and properly highlighted with author name and his concerned
faculty with proper contacting address.
 Abstract,
Abstract is properly written according to general paper format. It is quite suitable
and not so long and not short it consists of usual length words. It is concluding all
problems and solution in abstract.
 Introduction,
Introduction is properly written and it contains normal words strength. References
are mentioned in the context. It has short description of topic and then deeply
describes the main topic.
 Main section(s),
Main section includes equations, statistical and mathematical proves through
equations. It includes hypothesis in points of author’s assumptions, theorems
related discussions. References are properly mentioned in different theorems and
assumption.
 Summary,
 Conclusions, and
Conclusion is written well and clearly describes the ending and resulting part it is
described future part of the paper and finally which portion of work is useful
according to author point of view and its mathematical analysis.
 References.
References are quite good but it should be more as generally have references in
papers. It is in correct format of IEEE. Whole paper includes proper references
and following correct format. It includes future work and extension of given
material.
Comment on the language used in the paper.
Language of paper is quite good and precise and specific to subject. It includes exclusive
mathematical equations that prove some assumptions and hypothesis. It is relating
quantitative comparison and optimizes some solution.
General comments to the paper.
Overall it is good paper and includes comprehensive literature. It has good
communication language.
