Introduction to Divine Park and it’s Projects Recollecting the historic event in which Swami Vivekananda, the brave son of India, the
lion among the spiritualists, the champion of the downtrodden and the patriot without a
parallel hoisted the flag of the hoary Hinduism in Chicago and spread the message of
harmony and the affection throughout the length and breadth of the world, many people
may nostalgically wish that Swami Vivekananda were alive now as the world has need of
him.
But a pleasant surprise is in store for you. Swami Vivekananda is certainly present albeit
in a subtle form in the air we breathe, the water we drink and the light we see. Although it
is strange, it is nevertheless true. While He propagated the lofty ideas for the uplift of
mankind in the ‘Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda’ when He was in human form,
He is now disseminating His unique practical Vedanta made-to order for the
contemporary context in the ‘Continuing Works of Swami Vivekananda’.
Divine Park is a unique Universal Platform for all Religions, conceived and designed by
Him in his chosen Spiritual Laboratory. Manifesting here in His subtle form, He is
responding to the entreaties of the devotees, granting their wishes and is leading mankind
along the path of ever lasting bliss under His divine guidance. His awakened divine Self
is reverentially addressed as “Guruji’. Responding to the irresistible and imploring
supplications from Dr. A. Chandrashekara Udupa or Doctorji, Sri Guruji made Divine
Park his divine abode and the ground for his sportive play decades ago which heralded
the dawn of new epoch.
Divine Park has the tasks of Man-making and Nation-building high on it’s agenda. We
have launched a wide gamut of projects over the years with the aim of inculcating a
desire for a universal human religion and universal brotherhood in the minds of people.
Thus Divine Park has been silently serving the cause of the welfare of the world by
kindling in the minds of the people the readiness to accept a world religion that is in
conformity with the concept of the global village
1. Sri Rama Kripa Deepa Yojana: According to this project Viveka Veeras visit all
the houses in villages and teach the villagers how to recite Sri Rama Raksha
Stotram collectively in the mornings and evenings. This is intended to establish
affection and harmony in every home through a silent revolution.
2. Gram Sandeepa Yojana: This is aimed at convincing the villagers of the glory
and greatness of God, refreshing their knowledge of practical Vedanta, wiping out
the suprerstitions and motivating the villagers to embark on a regular daily
Sadhana.
3. Samsara deepa Yojana: The purpose of the project is to gather all the members of
the family and train them to lead a happy family life vibrant with cheerfulness,
contentment and harmony.

4. Samsmarana Deepa Yojana: Through this project an attempt is made to create
the awareness in the grief-stricken, disease-dreading people that God the life force
dwells within them and toils day in and day out to regulate more than 90 percent
of the biological functions of the body and that the least they can do to repay this
debt is to remember God through deep meditation and do every work as a
worship.
5. Sambandha Deepa Yojana: This project targets the people who have become
addicts to vices like smoking and drinking and are ruining their body and are
shattering blows to their God-given body and are writhing helplessly. It is
designed to train them to break themselves free from the vicious clutches of vices
and wicked people and concentrate on the God dwelling within.
6. Sambhrama Deepa Yojana: This will train people to pray for the success of
ceremonies like marriages, house warming, christening etc. to God the Almighty
after the dates are fixed.
7. Sankata Deepa Yojana: This explains to the people how to pray imploringly to
their Chosen Deity for God’s grace and for the early mitigation of their various
sufferings like illness, financial crisis etc.
8. Santhasa Deepa Yojana: To be born as a human being is a great good fortune
that comes to a person once in 64,000 years. Still, he does not know what may
befall him the next moment. This project prompts him not to waste a single
moment in the transitory life and motivates him to seek refuge in the Almighty
God residing within, surrender to Him, and pray to Him soul-stirringly and to live
happily with smiles, courtesy, politeness and pleasing behavior.
9. Sanchaara Deepa Yojana: Many will be the occasions when a person will be
called upon to leave home and travel on some business or pilgrimage. And while
departing also he should be ready to shed his mortal coil with Gods name. This
project prepares him for all such eventualities and trains him to pray for the
smoothness of the journey and also to pray to God to grant his kith and kin the
strength to endure the bereavement.
10. Viveka Deepa Yojana: This scheme proposes to acquaint the Viveka Veeras with
the technique of spreading Ishtaprema while canvassing for the worthy
publications like Viveka Sampada and Viveka veena. It teaches them how to
embark on collective Sadhana in the temple surroundings on the first day of their
campaign and commence the dissemination of noble ideas from there itself.
11. Shishu Sandeepa Yojana: This project imparts spiritual, moral and intellectual
training to children in the age group 5-10 and facilitates the healthy development
of their personality. It ensures that the future generations will be the salt of the
earth.

12. Vidyaarthi Deepa Yojana: Students in the age group 10-20 will be guided in their
respective class rooms in the presence of their teachers and will be taught the
technique of fine honing their concentration, skills and intelligence. Needless to
say, this will be immensely helpful in encouraging them to complete their
education successfully.
13. Sugama Sadhana Deepa Yojana: The common man will be acquainted with the
technique of surrendering to the Omnipotent God and of finding happiness by
worshipping Him even in the midst of the endless trials and tribulations which are
a part and parcel of family life.
14. Manthana Deepa Yojana: This will train the students of schools and colleges in
the effective ways of group study.
15. Manana Deepa Yojana: Light will be shed on how members of several families
can assemble at one place for Satsanga and discuss the lofty ideas that will
transform their lives into a joyful experience.
Sri Guruji has categorically stated that every human being is a Divine Spark and is
potentially divine. Divinity dwells within us just as the butter in the milk, the fragrance in
flowers and the statue in stone. Psychologists have reaffirmed that everyone has the
power to be whomever he chooses to be. Infinite source of joy, power and love lies
within us. We tend to seek in vain the joy outside when all the while it is within us. This
is so because the oppressive Himalayan weight of the impressions accumulated over the
past lives obstructs its manifestation. In other words, we are all captives in the cages of
our own creation. Once a human being realizes the true Self within, all sorrows and
sufferings will evaporate into thin air. The aim of Divine Park is to help the individual
unveil the innate divinity and grow to his true stature. All the above projects are the
means to achieve this goal.
