Project Bienestar: Access to Nursing

Thirty-two products.

The products submitted fit into three categories: 1) Outreach Materials, 2)
Program Management and Implementation, and 3) Curriculum Materials and
Course Materials.
►
Project Bienestar is designed to introduce high school and adult students to
nursing through entry level patient care courses (The Nurse Internship
Program, The PCA+ Program) that result in state and institutional
certification. In addition, Project Bienestar provides an accelerated 15-month
nursing curriculum for students that have completed all pre-requisite AAS
coursework. Materials are included for the three distinct training programs,
The Nurse Internship Program, the PCA+ Program, and the Accelerated
Nursing Track known as Access Nursing. Each folder contains materials to
introduce and advertise the program to potential participants, friends and
families, policies on scholarships, instructor qualifications and duties
overviews, nurse internship student handbook, and some curriculum.
