Grammy Award winner Diane Krall to make guest appearance as
part of Quota club concert series in March
QUOTA CLUB PLANS CONCERT SERIES IN MARCH
HAPPY VALLEY, January 30, 2010—Eight-time Grammy nominee Diana Krall will bring her
unique style of classic jazz and pop to the stage at the Quota Cares Months concert series
brought to you by The Quota Club of Happy Land. Krall herself is a Happyland native whose
stylistic vocals and piano playing have earned her two Grammy awards. Krall will make a guest
appearance on March 25 at the Duke Ellington Center, 425 Plain Street.
The Quota Club of Happy Land will participate with other Quota International clubs around the
world to celebrate Quota Cares Month in March. The annual event promotes awareness of issues
related to the 90-year-old organization’s service goals.
The Happy Land Quota Club plans a concert series during the four weeks of Quota Cares Month.
The concerts are offered by the Happy Valley Jazz Trio with the proceeds from the series
benefiting the infant hearing screening program at Happy Valley Hospital that was established
by the club in 1972.
