Editor’s in Chief short Bio-note:
Michael Gr. Voskoglou (B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D. in Mathematics) is an
Emeritus Professor of Mathematical Sciences at the School of Technological
Applications of the Graduate Technological Educational Institute of Western
Greece, where he lectured until 2010. He has also lectured at the Hellenic
Open University, at the Mathematics Department of the University of Patras,
at TEI of Messolonghi, etc. As a visiting professor he has taught in M.Sc.
courses of the department of Operational Mathematics at the University of Applied Sciences
in Berlin and of the School of Management at the University of Warsaw, while he worked for
3 years (1997-2000) under sabbatical as a post doctorate researcher at the Bulgarian Academy
of Sciences in Sofia.
He is the author of 9 books (in Greek and in English language) and of about 350 papers
published in reputed journals and proceedings of conferences of more than 25 countries in 5
continents, with many references from other researchers. He is also a reviewer of the
American Mathematical Society and member of the Editorial Board or referee in several
mathematical journals.
His research interests include Algebra, Fuzzy Sets, Markov Chains, Artificial Intelligence,
and Mathematics Education.

Associate Editors’ short Bio-notes:
Dr. Abdel-Badeeh M. Salem is a Professor of Computer Science since 1989
at Ain Shams University, Egypt. His research includes intelligent computing,
knowledge-based systems, biomedical informatics, and intelligent e-learning.
He has published around 250 papers in refereed journals and conferences. He
has been involved in more than 400 conferences and workshops as a Keynote
Speaker, Scientific Program Committee, Organizer and Session Chair. He is a member of
many national and international informatics associations.
Dr. Igor Ya. Subbotin earned his PhD in Mathematics at the Mathematics
Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1978. He is
professor and Lead mathematics Faculty at National University, USA. Dr.
Subbotin’s main area of research is algebra. He has had the privilege to
collaborate with several world-class mathematicians from different
countries. His list of publications includes 5 books and more than 90
articles in algebra published in major mathematics journals around the globe. He also
authored more than 30 articles in mathematics education dedicated mostly to theoretical
foundations of some topics of high school and college mathematics.
