Employee Recognition Awards
The nomination period is open for the annual Employee Recognition Awards for the 2015 calendar year.
The awards will be presented at the Employee Service and Recognition Ceremony on February 19, 2016.
The Employee Recognition Awards outlined in this call for nominations include:
Above and Beyond Award
Collaboration Award (formerly Committee, Team and/or Group Service Award)
Diversity Award
Peer Support Award
Quality Service Award
Student Employee Award
Outstanding Performance Award
In addition to the recognition awards listed above, the awards recognizing 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service will be presented during the awards celebration, and if finalized, the Outstanding Faculty Awards for full-time faculty and adjunct faculty will also be presented.
An Awards Selection Committee reviews submitted nominations and identifies recipients for the
Employee Recognition Awards. The Committee is comprised of five employees, including one employee from each employee group (Administrators, Classified, Faculty, Professional/Technical) and a fifth employee rotating from each employee group.
The Employee Recognition Awards are designed with the understanding that all employees contribute to the success of Heartland and that everyone deserves recognition for their dedication in fulfilling their responsibilities and carrying out the College mission. While it is impossible to recognize all of the individual efforts that occur day-in and day-out at Heartland, we do want employees to know that their hard work and commitment is appreciated. In addition, we want to give special recognition to employees for their extra efforts and special contributions in the specified award categories.
Please familiarize yourself with all of the awards and submit nominations as appropriate. Before completing a nomination form, please read the award descriptions and nomination forms carefully. If you have questions, please contact Hannah Renner at 309-268-8147 or hannah.renner@heartland.edu
