ELIGIBILITY: Only purebred Afghan Hounds, Azawakhs, Basenjis, Borzoi, Cirneco dell’Etna, Greyhounds,
Ibizian Hounds, Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Pharaoh Hounds, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Salukis,

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
All entries must be one year or older on the day of the trial. Stakes will be split into flights by public random
draw if the entry in any regular stake is 20 or more. Bitches in season, lame hounds and hounds with breed
disqualifications will be excused at roll call. Spayed, neutered, monorchid or cryptorchid hounds without
breed disqualifications may be entered. Hounds with breed disqualifications are not eligible to enter except
in the Single Stake. Hounds not present at the time of roll call will be scratched. All hounds will run twice,
in trios if possible or braces (except in the Single Stake) unless excused, dismissed or disqualified.
IF THIS IS THE HOUND’S FIRST TRIAL, A COPY OF THE HOUND'S REGISTRATION (EXCEPT AN NGA

Any eligible sighthound that meets ASFA certification requirements, except ASFA
Field Champions of Record
FIELD CHAMPION: Any ASFA Field Champion.
VETERAN: Any eligible sighthound that has met certification requirements whose age exceeds six years
except Irish Wolfhounds whose age shall exceed five years and Afghan Hounds, Rhodesian Ridgebacks and
Whippets whose age shall exceed seven years.
SINGLE: Any eligible sighthound including those disqualified to run in other stakes. Not eligible
for Best of Breed or Best in Field.
LIMITED: Any eligible sight hound of a Limited or Provisional stake breed that has meet
certification requirements.
BEST IN FIELD WILL BE OFFERED SATURDAY ONLY
Hound Certifications will be offered on Saturday ONLY immediately after Best in Field. Practice ONLY will
be offered on Saturday after certifications, time light and weather permitting. Cost will be $3 per practice
run Cost will be $5 per certification run.
AWARDS:
Ribbons will be awarded for all placements – 1st through NBQ and BOB
Rosettes for BIF only

8:30 AM EDT for all breeds
Late, incomplete, unsigned, unpaid, conditional entries or entries without registration number will not be
accepted. Entries WILL NOT be acknowledged by phone or mail. Fax or E-Mail entries WILL NOT be
accepted. Substitutes for lame or in-season hounds are allowed if the substitute has the same owner
and the Field Secretary is notified by 7:00am the day of the trial.

A penalty of $5.00 will be assessed for any hound that is loose on the field and not in
competition with the course in progress.
There will be a $5.00 fee assessed to anyone who fails to pick-up after their hound.
Park on blacktop only. Bring your own shade and water.
The lure will consist of highly visible plastic strips and/or fur and will run on a battery-powered
continuous loop system. Back-up equipment will be available.
COURSE PLANS:
The course plan will be reversed for finals, run-offs, Best of Breed and Best in Field. LKC
reserves the right to alter the course as required by weather and/or field conditions on the
day of the trial.
