American Revolution Newspaper
PART I
Imagine you are a newspaper reporter during the Revolutionary War.
You will create (2) two news stories with headlines about the Revolutionary War.
You will use chapter 7 sections 1,2,3,4 to find your stories.
When writing your stories, your will assume the identity of either a British or an American reporter. Your
stories will then be written based on the point of view of your country. Example: Battle of Yorktown, good
for the Americans, bad for the British.
Answer the following questions when writing your stories:
WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY, HOW
Follow the format used in a newspaper for your stories.
Each story will be a minimum of fifty words (50) ALL STORIES WILL HAVE A PICTURE
In addition, you will also create another section for your newspaper. Copy the format of any other section
in the newspaper. Example: sports, business, entertainment, food, help wanted ads section. For this section,
please use topics only during the Revolutionary War time period. Example: Help Wanted, need soldier for
Guerrilla Team, great benefits.
