Get Set – London 2012
Get Set is London 2012's national education programme aimed at involving children and
young people in the excitement and inspiration of the Games.
Medway Council is urging all Medway schools to register for Get Set to supplement the local
curriculum resources provided as part of Our Medway 2012 with a wealth of national
Olympic and Paralympic education resources that fit neatly with the OM 2012 project areas.
In order for the Our Medway 2012 programme to achieve its ambition of getting national
recognition from the London 2012 organisers, we need to demonstrate that Medway
schools are also signed up to the Get Set programme. Basic Get Set registration is
extremely quick, so please take the time to register at
http://getset.london2012.com/en/join-us/register
For more information and to get an idea of the resources available, visit the get set website
at http://getset.london2012.com/en/home
Get Set is also just launching a Get Set Network for school pupils across the country to sign
up to. You can read more about this in the Join Us section of the website.
