AJC ACCESS Mission to Puerto Rico
In conjunction with the Hispanic Federation, the Jewish Community
Center of Puerto Rico, and the National Puerto Rican Coalition, Inc.,
November 8th-10th, 2010
ACTIVITIES:

Touring the island

Learning about the individual histories and cultural heritage of
Puerto Ricans and Jews

Engaging in conversations with high level Puerto Rican on hot
issues such as human rights and development opportunities

Strengthening inter-American relations

Sharing with the prominent Jewish community on the island

Celebrating the diversity both of the Latino and the Jewish
communities
COST: $850 (includes ground transportation, tourism, and meals.) Rooms have
been reserved at a local hotel in San Juan for $139 a night, plus taxes and fees.
Air travel is not included but a 5% discount coupon was negotiated with American Airlines.
