AJC ACCESS Mission to Puerto Rico In conjunction with the Hispanic Federation, the Jewish Community Center of Puerto Rico, and the National Puerto Rican Coalition, Inc., November 8th-10th, 2010 ACTIVITIES: Touring the island Learning about the individual histories and cultural heritage of Puerto Ricans and Jews Engaging in conversations with high level Puerto Rican on hot issues such as human rights and development opportunities Strengthening inter-American relations Sharing with the prominent Jewish community on the island Celebrating the diversity both of the Latino and the Jewish communities COST: $850 (includes ground transportation, tourism, and meals.) Rooms have been reserved at a local hotel in San Juan for $139 a night, plus taxes and fees. Air travel is not included but a 5% discount coupon was negotiated with American Airlines.
