Units within the Artistic Therapy Course Claywork in Artistic Therapy (ART4103) - 12th -14th February Connect with the Earth and clay as a medium to express feelings. An ideal medium for working with men, adolescents and resistant clients. Clay arouses deep feelings and tells the stories that cannot be easily told. Colour Applications in Artistic Therapy (ART4102) - 16th - 18 April Creates awareness of the vocabulary of colour within the world of feeling that leads to insight into human experiences in the therapeutic processes of releasing and healing. Artistic Therapies in Casework (ART4104) - 11th - 13th June Apply the range of artistic therapies including sandplay, clay and colour work to particular clinical cases with particular attention to indications / contradictions, age, special needs and unique client characteristics. Drama Therapies in Therapeutic Group Work (ART4105) - 13th - 15th August Invigorate therapeutic groups with colour, movement, sensing, sounding and sharing image making. Powerfully enlivening processes for working with therapeutic groups. Sandplay in Artistic Therapy (ART4101) - 15th - 17th October Develops insight and therapeutic skills in sandplay in the counselling process together with an experience of the use of symbol in therapy.
