PRE-ENROLMENT INFORMATION FOR MEDICAL AND DENTAL
STUDENTS
(ENROLMENT FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 07-08)
STAGE ONE – ACADEMIC ENROLMENT
You will already have received an email indicating that there are important changes to your
Enrolment and Registration procedures for 2007-08.
The first part of this will be to pre-enrol on your module choices for next year BEFORE the end of
Semester 2. An online application will be available through Queens Online for a limited 2 week
period, between 30 April and 11 May 2007.
For both Medicine and Dentistry where students do not have to select modules this is a very
simple procedure. All compulsory modules are automatically listed and you should not need to
alter or confirm any of the information given. You are invited to access the screens for
information purposes and to read up on the modules you are due to take next year.
The benefit of the new system is that for the vast majority of students who are in good academic
standing, the academic stage of the enrolment and registration process will be automatically
completed.

Through Queen’s On-Line, https://admin.qol.qub.ac.uk/home/
Enter your User ID and password and click submit
When you are logged into Queen’s on-line look under “Administration” and click on the
Pre-enrolment 2007-8 option.
On the screen you will see Registration Information which provides details of your
pathway.
You will also see a heading “First Choice Preferences”. This should contain all the
compulsory modules associated with your year. These cannot be altered. No medical or
dental students should have any “Second Choice Preferences” and all modules will be
compulsory.
The compulsory modules for medicine and dentistry are listed below for information and
should correspond with the modules listed on the pre-enrolment screen. The modules
listed on the screen will be linked to the module descriptions so that you can use this
facility to look up information on the modules you will be taking next year.
