Balakrishna Reddy, was established in 1979. The
Institute is located in a sprawling 185 acre site on
the bank of the
river Swarnamukhi at
Vidyanagar near Vakadu, Nellore District, Andhra
Pradesh.
9001–2000 Certified one. The Institute has been
accredited by NAAC(UGC) with ‘A’ Grade. The Institute
offers B.Tech Courses in Civil Engg., Electrical &
Electronics Engg., Electronics & Communication Engg.,
Mechanical Engg., Computer Science & Engg., and
Electronic Instrumentation & Control Engg.,. The
courses have been approved by Institution of Engineers
( INDIA).
The Institute has comprehensive
facilities
needed for top class Engineering Education. All the
Computer Centers in the campus are connected with
Fibre network LAN and Internet facility is provided even
beyond working hours.
The Library has a stock of about 30000 text
books and more than 80 National and International
Journals and has computerized Library information and
Xerographic facilities. A digital Library consisting of
CD’s of Lectures given by eminent Professors of I.I.T’s is
made available to students to complement the classroom
teaching opening up avenues to enrich their knowledge in
innovative ways.
The Institute has three well maintained Hostels
with modern facilities for boys & Girls. The Institute has
very good sports facilities. The Institute has been
providing Campus Recruitment for the students in
various Companies of high reputed such as TCS, Satyam
Computers, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Sonata, Lucid,

About the Workshop :
The workshop is organized by EICE & ECE
Departments. This workshop aims at providing
exposure to Embedded Systems along with hands
on experience on Embedded boards.
Topics to be Covered :
 Introduction to Embedded Systems
 ARM Architecture
 Real Time Operating System
 Hands on experience on Embedded Boards
& Porting.

Experts from VI-MicroSystems Pvt. Ltd.,
Chennai will handle the sessions.
