The name of the minor was changed from Ethnic Studies to Race and Ethnic Studies . The name of HIST 2033 was changed from The American Indian to American Indian History . American
Indian Geographies (GEO 4133) was added to category 2. GEO 3403 was removed from the
Guided Electives list. Director of minor has changed.
9. Please provide a concise, yet comprehensive, statement that explains the reasons for requesting the change . Include documentation or assessment information supporting the specific request (if possible).
This change was required because the course name for HIST 2033 changed. American Indian
Geographies was added because it is suited to the Race and Ethnic Studies Minor. GEO 3404 was deleted from the minor because it no longer exists. Dr. Marc Goulding is the new director of the Race and Ethnic Studies Minor.
