* Postgraduate degree in Engineering. * Extensive proven project management experience,

DUTIES
:
* With existing role-players, develop and implement a programme for the redevelopment of District
6, according to principles and objectives already identified in a comprehensive business plan for
the redevelopment of the area. The redevelopment of District 6 is a project which aims to achieve
the strategic objectives of the Department. * Manage outsourced services through appropriate
Service Level Agreements. * Ensure project documentation is maintained in the programme. *
Monitor the programme and ensure achievement of service delivery outcomes. * Ensure effective
management of risks associated with the programme and report potential deviation from the
programme plan. * Design and align all projects within the programme to support the overall
objectives of the Department. * Compile monthly project management information reports and
circulate for the attention of all role-players. * Coordinate all meetings in the Programme, including
the Technical Steering Committee and Task Team. * Mobilise the provincial service delivery
structures of all Departments forming part of the programme. * Implement the stakeholder
engagement plan. * Follow up and report on implementation of resolutions. * Communicate
effectively with all stakeholders, including team members, management and other programme
stakeholders regarding status of the programme.
