Does Speech Communication involve a lot of speeches?
  No. “Speech” in our name is a bit misleading (only some classes require formal speeches)
  Speech communication is an academic discipline theoretically grounded in the humanities
and social sciences
What does speech communication involve?

 the major is usually completed in four semesters
