CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. Neither the organisers, nor any of the show officers, servants or assistants shall be in any way responsible or accountable for any loss, injury or damage that may happen (for any cause or circumstance whatever) to exhibitors, their servants or assistants, or any member of the public, to any animal or property, or to any vehicle brought onto the Showground, or on premises used in conjunction with the show, or while entering or leaving the same, or otherwise for anything else in conjunction with, or arising out of, or attributable to the Show. The Committee reserve the right to refuse an entry without giving any reason whatever. 2. Any objections must be lodged with the Secretary immediately, together with a deposit of £10.00 which will be returned if the objection is upheld. 3. The Committee reserve the right to change the judges. The decision of the judges will be final. All In Hand entries must be registered with the Welsh Pony & Cob Society, or be eligible for such registration. 4. Cups and trophies will be awarded to fully paid up members of the Association only, to be held for one year and returned to the Secretary as and when demanded, and in any case prior to the next year’s Show. A deposit of £10 will be levied on all cups, refundable on their safe return 5. In the event of the Show being cancelled for whatever reason, the Committee reserve the right to keep a portion of the monies to cover expenses. 6. Exhibitors are NOT permitted to enter an animal in any class which is to be judged by a person who has, or had, any financial interest in the animal, or has been connected with it in any way. 7. No substitution of entries will be accepted. 8. The Committee reserve the right to amalgamate or divide classes if deemed appropriate. 9. The Committee reserve the right to alter or amend the Conditions. 10. Exhibitors are asked not to bring a coughing horse to the show, and may be required to remove any such animal. 11. Exhibitors should ensure that they are adequately covered by third party insurance. 12. No mares allowed in the ring with the foal. 13. A,B and Part bred colts must not be led by handlers under 12yrs C,D and large Part bred colts must not be led by handlers under 14yrs 14. Correctly fastened hats to the current recommended British Standard are to be worn at all time when mounted on any part of the Showground and although not a rule it is recommended by the SCWPCA that all competitors 18 years and under wear a correctly fastened hat when showing in hand 15. Riders of stallions must have attained their 11th birthday before 1st January of the current year when riding small breeds (Welsh A & B) and for large breeds (Welsh C & D) riders must have attained their 14 th birthday before 1st January. 16. No dogs allowed around college, unless you have a permit., and if allowed must be on a lead at all times 17. NO SMOKING (designated smoking area - Lorry park only) 18. Please take your rubbish home with you or use bins provided! 19. It shall be solely the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that they present thier animal prior to the commencement of its class, Where an exhibitor is showing more than one animal they must take account of potential conflicts' Directions - From the South via M3 - Travel north on M3 and leave at Junction 11 (A3090) signposted “Winchester S & W”. Go straight over 1st roundabout. At 2nd roundabout take 2nd exit on to Badger Farm Road signposted “Olivers Battery (A3090)”. Continue up hill. Go straight over 1st roundabout. At 2nd roundabout take 2nd exit on to Romsey Road signposted “City Centre”. Go through 2 sets of traffic lights. At mini-roundabout take 1st exit on to Chilbolton Avenue signposted “City Centre – All Other Routes”. Follow to end and turn left at mini-roundabout on to Stockbridge Road signposted “Stockbridge – Salisbury (A30)”. Proceed on this road for approximately 2.5 miles (ignoring signs to the village of Sparsholt). Turn left at the Sparsholt College Hampshire/Wessex Centre sign. Continue up lane for approximately 0.5 miles, turning right on to campus.
