This show is affiliated to the Shire Horse Society. A Silver Spoon and Rosette will be
awarded to the Champion mare or filly eligible in classes subject to the Shire Horse
Society conditions of offer.
Classes maybe combined if there are less than catalogued entries.
This show is part of the Mobberley Members Champion Foal of the Year.
Points for this competition are 1st - 5, 2nd - 3 and 3rd - 1 points.
Judge: Mr LE Harrison, Co Durham.
Special Prizes:
The John Priestner Trophy will be awarded to the winner of Class 5
The Burrows Brothers Perpetual Challenge Cup will be awarded to the best animal in
classes 1 - 6 The Warrington Horse and Motor Owners Association Perpetual
Challenge Cup will be awarded to the best gelding in Class 3.

Young Handlers Class – For exhibitors over 13 years and under 18
years old.
Ridden Heavy Horse – Light Horse crosses not accepted.
Championship:
The Horses placed first and second in Classes 1-6 are eligible to go forward to the
championship.

All Prizewinners from classes 1 - 8 to take part in the Shire Horse Parade
commencing in the Main Arena
Entry fees: Classes 1 – 5, 7 & 9 £10.00
Class 6 – No entry fee
Class 8 £ 5.00.
Prizes: Classes 1 – 5, 7 & 9 1st - £40, 2nd - £30, 3rd - £20, 4th - £10

Class 8
1st - £15, 2nd - £10 and £5 to all other competitors forward in
the ring.
