Metabolic syndrome can significantly weaken your bones

Metabolic syndrome can
significantly weaken your bones here's how to prevent it
If you have metabolic syndrome, you're at a
much higher risk of bone loss. This is true
whether you're a man or a woman. Studies
have shown that metabolic syndrome causes
low-grade inflammation, which can lead to
lower bone mineral density and a higher risk of
bone fractures. But new research has found
that you can lower your risk simply by taking
one of my favorite nutrients.
In this new study, Danish researchers wanted
to find out if resveratrol could help men with
metabolic syndrome avoid bone loss. To find
the answer, the researchers used a
randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled
trial. They measured the bone mineral density and looked at signs of
bone formation and resorption in 66 middle-aged men with metabolic
syndrome. Then they divided the men into three groups and followed
them for 16 weeks. They gave one group a 500 mg dose of
resveratrol. They gave the second group a 75 mg dose of the
compound. And they gave the third group a placebo twice a day.
Compared to those who took the
placebo, the men who took the

the control group. In other
words, the resveratrol had a clear benefit for those who had metabolic
syndrome.
The researchers said, "In just four months on high-dose resveratrol,
we saw significant improvements in bone mineral density at the spine
and elevated levels of the bone formation marker BAP."
So if you suffer from metabolic syndrome — or any condition that
might encourage bone loss — then you should consider taking
resveratrol. You can order a high-quality resveratrol by following
