Requirement
The following compliance matrix criteria are for all inductive loop detection systems
1
660-2.1.2.1
Inductive loop detection system uses a minimum of one inductive
loop and loop detector.
2
Detection system operates by energizing and monitoring wire
embedded in the road surface to detect vehicle presence and
provide an output to traffic controllers or other devices that can
generate volume, occupancy, and speed data (detection output).

Item
Comply?
(Yes/No)
By signing this form, the applicant declares that he/she has read and
understands the provisions of Section 660 of the FDOT Standard
Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and all implemented
modifications. The requirements listed on this matrix are derived from Section
660, and are the basis for determining a product’s compliance and its
acceptability for use on Florida’s roads.
