1st Annual Gulf Coast Gospel Jubilee
This event is being held for the benefit of THE LIGHT HOUSE AND THE
C.A.R.E HOUSE OF BALDWIN COUNTY.
All the proceeds and donations will go to these two organizations.
This event is being hosted by The Foley Police Department, Calvary Chapel
Fellowship of Foley, First Baptist Church of Foley, and a host of other faith
based organizations and businesses in Baldwin County.
The Date: Saturday October 4, 2014
The Place: Foley Soccer Fields at Foley Sports Complex
The Time: 10:00am to 6:00pm
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
➢ First,
make a donation of any amount and send it to P.0. Box 1666, Foley,
AL 36535. Make checks, money orders, and cashier checks payable to
Calvary Impact.

Second, your church or business can set up a booth and promote your
organization or sell your products. Vendors, businesses, and churches
can set up Friday October 3, 2014 from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Third, if you have a gospel band, a contemporary Christian band, a
church choir, a soloist, or a good ole guitar player and vocalist, you can
sign up for a scheduled time slot to perform at the event.

Fourth, you can be involved by preparing and selling food, this event will
have a food vendor area. Whether it’s burgers, sausage, gumbo, BBQ, or a
fish fry, whatever your specialty, bring it on down and be part of this
great event.
WHY THESE TWO ORGANIZATIONS?
The scourge of domestic violence and child abuse which scars our community
has far reaching effects on all of us. We have two organizations that help to aid
those affected and victimized by violence in the home. The C.A.R.E. HOUSE
provides assistance and services to victims of child abuse as well as supports
law enforcement with the detection and prosecution of offenders that abuse
children. THE LIGHTHOUSE provides assistance and services to victims and
children who have been victimized by domestic violence, and most
importantly provides victims with safe shelter from the abuser. Both of these
organizations receive funding from other sources, however those resources
are not always enough or reliable. Here in Alabama we suffered through a
period where the resources were not there, and there was a break in those
much needed services in 2013. Our local shelters and victim’s advocacy
providers need our local support.
As a community, we believe that we can make a difference, just as THE
LIGHTHOUSE and THE C.A.R.E. HOUSE makes a difference in the lives of
these children and families. Let's get involved and make a difference in our
community.
