Vendors will obey and abide by the following rules. Vendor booths MUST be WHITE in color; off-white, tan, beige and cream are acceptable. NO vehicles, trailers, RVs, etc. will be allowed to remain in, around or behind the vendor display area. Vendors may not share or sub-lease a space with another artisan or crafter. NONE OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE ALLOWED: 1. NO imitation plastics, Hong Kong, Korean, or other Asian imported beadwork; rubber drums, rubber spears, flutes, tomahawks, shields, bows & arrows, rhodium, fake silver or imitation turquoise jewelry; production line ceramics. NOTE: All pottery must be handcrafted and of Native American origin unless special guest. 2. NO plastic covered, mass-production prints such as Leaning Tree, etc. / Blankets must be made in N. Amer. 3. NO white fleece production line mandelas or dream catchers made outside of the USA. 4. NO alcoholic beverages, firearms or illegal drugs. 5. NO profanity, vulgarity or gossip will be allowed. We have an image to project and protect. 6. All county, city and state ordinances must be obeyed. If you are a food concession it is your duty to get with the local health department. 7. If other countries are represented as a cultural showcase or alternative artist & crafters, they will also adhere to the appropriate trader bylaws. 8. Our interest is to preserve and promote the quality of Native American arts and crafts and to educate the public If you have a problem with the public filming your display, etc., for non-commercial purposes, do not attend this event. 9. NO grab bags, fifty-fifties, raffles, games of chance or blind risk activities. 10. NO predator pelts, claws or parts for sale or trade. People do not eat predators so we cannot and will not justify their suffering. Anyone caught with illegal feathers, furs or animal parts will not only be expelled from the festival, but also immediately reported to the US Fish and Game authorities. This goes for the bartering, trading, selling etc., of feathers of birds of prey be you Indian or not. We also support the American Indian Arts & Crafts Law. ALL TRADERS will be responsible for every piece of trash from their booth. This includes, but is not limited too: plastic ties, food particles, grease, cardboard boxes, cigarette butts, etc. FOOD BOOTHS: Be aware that health inspectors will visit before and during the event so please prepare for this eventuality. Festival has an exclusive on ALL drink sales. Concessionaires will not be allowed to sell drinks or candy, etc. ONLY the foods specified in your contract may be sold. No Styrofoam except for CFC-free Styrofoam. ALL booths may be up to 20ft wide. The fee for each booth space is $250.00 for the 2-day event. The contract deadline is August 20th, 2012. FOOD booths may be up to 20ft wide. The concession fee is $400.00 for the 2-day event. The deadline is the same as above. NOTE: Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with limited availability and no late charge will be added after the deadline as the space automatically goes to our waiting list. No exceptions to this rule, it assures a fair slate to those that have a vested interest in the marketing campaign, which is now in effect. There will be no refunds due to fire and brimstone, acts of God and/or Mother Nature, government closures, untimely deaths or illnesses, world or universal alien wars, flat tires, belly-aching, etc. Your booth fee/investment has been used for the purchase of ad time on the radio, television and other promotions, all for the benefit of the show. Our vendors are judged according to their wares, display and most importantly, their attitudes. The event producers reserve the right to make exceptions to this contract as they see fit. Vendors reserve the right to bring complaints and/or concerns to the producers, although instigators and busybodies are not tolerated and will be expelled from the event. NO EXCEPTIONS. Exhibitor shall be solely responsible for operating said facilities in a safe and proper manner. Festival Sponsors shall have no duties or responsibilities for operating or supervising said facilities. Exhibitor shall and does hereby agree to occupy, use and enjoy the leased premises at its sole risk and shall pay, protect, indemnify, release and save any agents harmless from and against all liabilities, damages, and expenses (including all attorney’s fees and expenses incurred by Festival Sponsors and any of the Festival Sponsors’ employees or agents), causes of actions, suits, demands, judgments and claims of any nature whatsoever (excluding those based upon the negligence of the Exhibitor, its officers, agents, employees, customers, invitees or licensees), arising from, by reason of, or in connection with: 1) 2) 3) injury to or death of persons or damage to property (a) on the premises, or (b) in any manner arising from use, non-use or occupancy of the premises by Exhibitor or any of the Exhibitors’ officers, agents, employees, customers, invitees or licensees, or (c) resulting from a condition of the premises, excluding any condition of the premises for which Festival specifically is responsible under this Agreement, if any; violation of any agreement, representation, warranty, provision, term or condition of this agreement by Exhibitor or any of the Exhibitor’s officers, agents, employees; violation of any law affecting the premises of the occupancy of use of the premises.
