What is COLS?
COLS 3-Day is a leadership seminar that takes place over three outstanding days. It focuses on empowering and inspiring Grade 10 “ambassadors” representing schools from
Toronto, York, Halton, Hamilton, Niagara, Orangeville areas and more. One Grade 10 student is invited from each high school in Central Ontario region. The Seminar runs from
May 27-29, 2016 at The University of Toronto Mississauga Campus.
What is a Junior Leader?
The Junior Leader position requires your attendance at COLS Staff Training on Saturday,
May 14, 2016 . As a Junior Leader, you will be facilitating a COLS Three-Day group alongside your Senior Leader. You are required to actively engage with ambassadors, promote positivity, and support their learning. You are taking on a role of mentorship and community building within the COLS community and are the heart of the conference. We will be hiring 12 Junior Leaders to be paired with 12 Senior Leaders.
What is a Logistics Team Member?
Logistics members make sure the weekend runs smoothly and on time by setting up for the various events and working behind the scenes.
If you are 18 years or older, you will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check from the
Police Station in the city in which you reside. The Police Check must be presented upon the beginning of the Mandatory Training o n Saturday May 14, 2016.
