Breheimsenteret
The Breheimsenteret Glacier Museum at the foot of the Nigardsbreen Glacier. Large
museum with nature history, culture history and an exciting nature documentary film,
and gives you knowledge and practical experience of the Jostedalsbreen National
Park. In Breheimsenteret you will also find Tourist information, TaxFree souvenir
shop and lunch restaurant with a variety of warm and cold meals, with panaorama
view to the Nigardsbreen Glacier. Combined prices for museum and group lunches.
Opening hours: 1/5-20/6 and 21/8-1/10: 10-17 hrs, 20/6-20/8: 09-19 hrs. Driving

Jostedalen Glacier Guides
Since 1987, the Jostedalen Glacier Guides Company Ltd. has organized glacier hikes
on the Nigardsbreen Glacier, from 1 hour to 5 hours on the ice. We also run basic
and advanced glacier- and climbing courses, as well as custom-made tours. All our
guides are approved glacier-/mountain guides and instructors with extensive local
expertise and long and all-round experience. We are members of IVBV/UIAGM

Icetroll
offer kayaking tours on remote glacier lakes in Jostedalen, on the eastern side of the
Jostedalsbreen Icecap. The tours, designed for any ability, range from day trips on
one of two lakes, an overnight tour and, for the more adventurous, a 2-day tour. We
welcome anybody with a desire for the outdoors. There are no limits on age or
fitness, on individuals or groups. The tours vary in time and distance to suit your

Raudskarvfjellet Turriding
Horseback riding in the National Park! 5 hour experience in untouched landscape,
close to the glacier. Raudskarvfjellet turriding will take you on a memorable ride into
a unique and untouched area surrounded by high mountains. We will take you into an
area which is nearly impossible to reach by foot, because of the fast running, icy-cold
rivers. Before we set off, we let you groom the horse, so that you can get to know
each other. During the ride we stop for a break so that you can enjoy the scenery.

Icetroll Whitewater Rafting
The river cuts a path through alpine valleys of unmatched beauty. See this landscape
from its most thrilling vantage point. You will paddle in a seven passenger raft with a
highly trained guide through class I, II, and III (in high water conditions) rapids.
