Opportunities for trips to "continuous" beaches, the idyllic tourist port, 1-class fishing in the river Ebre (Spain's largest) at the coast
or at sea. Fantastic experiences by excursions of a few days.
From "beginning of time” there has been olives grown here. Our plantation 38.000 m2 is preserved biological and has 400 olive trees mainly
several hundred of years old about 100 carob trees and many other fruit-, nut-, and spices- trees and bushes.
A single olive tree near the house is preserved through the ages as a shaded pavilion and thousand years old / 45 meters in circumference.
Have a walk in the small but deep valley of the plantation - which has grown wildly – and you will see rosemary, thyme, St. John's wort, asparagus
figs, grapes, carob, laurent- almond-, and walnuts-trees and a tomb. The area is visited from time to time by wild boars and a Golden Eagle family
of 3 eagles which lives in the close by mountains.
The area has its own "micro climate", and is one of the most dry and sunny places in Spain. In summer when most warm often comes a refreshing
breeze from the mountains!
The area and Tortosa are mentioned in the history. "Hannibal" gathered his troops here before the invention of Rome. The city of Tortosa writes its
history back to the time of Christ. A huge fort, the old town and the cathedral is worth a visit. There are good shops and a lively arts scene.
The narrow mountain road via "Col de Alba" with its landscape and views are a "must"!.
Only within 1 hour (45 km) you are at the top of the nearest Mount Caro 1442 m. and the National Park with a dramatic view. Here you often meet
mountain goats, golden eagles and vultures.
Up river Ebro you may visit Miravet Castle and the old town (75 km). A small ferry driven by the river current takes you over the river.
Ebro Delta has a large production of rice and mussels and a very rich fishing from its beaches. Together with the Mediterranean the Delta gives the
air humidity. The river it’s self is famous for its cat fishing and excursion possible by vessel or rent a small boat.
Ebro Delta Natural Park is famous for bird watching with a population of Flamingos
Owner: Danish-Cuban couple: Tamara, doctor specializes in plant medicine and holistic organic living (abilities as a “White witch”) and Spanishspeaking and some English). Viggo is a retired business manager (Speaking: English, Spanish, Scandinavian and some German) living
permanently in another house 60 meter sheltered from there. The family consists also of horses, two dogs and a cat.
The site has its own energy plant from solar panels, wind generator, "back up" diesel generator and 200 m deep well with a 15,000 lt. water tower
and a production of ecological biological olive oil.
Opportunities: Holistic organic meals prepared with taste. Massage. Consultations mental, spiritual, idea-generating. Inspiration.
Casita approx. 67 m2 5 rooms in a whole separate house:
Living room: 35 m2 with antiques and double sofa bed 120x200 cm and space for extra single beds.
Bedroom 1: With a double bed 140x200 cm and theoretically limited space for an extra single bed. Fantastic view overlooking the valley and
mountains and access to a separate terrace.
Bedroom 2: With a mezzanine double bed 140x200 cm. Hereunder a sofa bed 125x185 cm and space for up to 2 single beds 65x185cm. Entrance
from bathroom and door out to the area.
Fans at the beds. Mosquito net protect the windows and doors.
Room for up to 8 people. Max. 5-6 adults plus young ones. By more than 6 people ask for an offer. There are 2 camp beds 65x185 cm. and 1
guest bed to place as wanted. You may settle how filled up / close together you want to be - but there is plenty of room and up to 5 hammocks
outside! PS.: But we also like to rent for 1 - 2 people then have it all for themselves.

Bathroom with WC and shower. Hot and cold water.
Kitchen outdoors in a former barn. Cooker (gas) and Refrigerator with freezer (electric)

Bicycles: 4. Car rental possible locally but landlord may drive for you.
Pet’s max 3 allowed provided passports, all injections, necklace “Scalibor”. Extra Fees total € 20
