NSB Symphonic Winds, Big Band & Big Band III @ National Concert Band Festival 2015 Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester It is a terrific achievement to have three bands from the school invited to take part in this event. We will be meeting at school for 6:30 a.m. (sorry!!!) to travel to the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester on Saturday 11 April, to take part in the National Concert Band Festival. All groups will be staying for the whole day, leaving Manchester to return home at 6:30 p.m., arriving back at NSB by 9:30 p.m. approximately. Big Band III will be performing in the Opera Theatre at 11:30 a.m., with the adjudication and awards presentation being immediately afterwards. For family/friends who wish to travel with us we have reserved an extra coach for the day. The cost will be £12 per person with no concessions. Please complete and return the enclosed Consent and Travel Arrangements forms to the Music Office no later than next Wednesday 25 March – this is very important! Audience tickets for this event can be purchased from the Royal Northern College of Music Box Office (0161 907 5555) either in advance or on the day of the event. Tickets, costing £7 (£5 concessions), allow you in to all events in both halls during the course of the day. There is also a special Family ticket (2 adults and 3 children) for £15.
