GOAL: Have fun, earn points and win prizes while competing with colleagues to reduce items going to the landfill during the spring Phoenix Cup
competition.
DATES: February 16 – March 6
DIRECTIONS:
1. Form a team of faculty or staff in your workplace, up to 10 people. Team members should all work in or have offices in the same
building.
2. Select a team captain. The team captain is responsible for
a. Registering the team (Letting Jessica Bilecki know the team is competing)
b. Turning in final spreadsheets
c. Being the liaison between the team and the Office of sustainability if questions arise or if prizes are awarded
3. At the end of three weeks sheets are turned into the team captain.
4. The team captain should then turn all worksheets into Jessica Bilecki (jbilecki@elon.edu, CB 2104) by March 11th.
PRIZES: There are three point levels. If your team collectively reaches the point level below, every team member will receive the prizes listed.
Gift card amounts may vary depending on the number of teams competing.
50 points = reusable bag, mug, to-go utensils
100 points = reusable bag, mug, to-go utensils, $5 to local coffee shop
200 points = reusable bag, mug, to-go utensils, $10 to local restaurant
The team with the most points per person wins a free lunch for their team at a local restaurant of choice or one catered by Mill Point.
