All transcripts mailed out. Some USA universities request TOEFEL results from student attending international school.
Not to worry it gets sorted out and they’ll usually waive the requirement upon realizing student is fluent in English.
Note:
Important meeting for parent/student (no date). Topic: accepting offers & understanding procedure in UK.
Please do not commit to a college/university and break your commitment later on. Harms ZIS’ reputation and hurts prospects for future students.
Checkout Form – parents/student required to fill it out. Final transcripts provided to schools over summer.
Complete name & address of university/college required. File in June.
Electronic transcripts - available when’s school out of session. Be sure to obtain a copy for family records.
Maintain current email address at ZIS office over the summer!
Discourage double depositing at schools. This means holding a place at two schools simultaneously with the intention of dropping one(denies another student from having a place).
Read ZIS Links & Counselors’ Corner newsletter. Login to Parents Portal, click on Upper School (pink button) to find it.
Parent suggestion: check dorm & housing signups. UK & US housing is tight, assignments made on “first come first served” basis. Advice: know school’s policy in advance.
