What is the purpose of a function? X.

Using Absolute Cell References in Formulas
1. When a cell reference is used in a formula and the cell’s contents cannot be changed if copied to other cells, it is
best to use an X cell reference, denoted by the insertion of X signs in front of both row and column.

The ROUND Function
What will be the result of the following:

The IF Function
1. The IF function is used to make a decision based on X.

Amortization Tables and the PMT Function
1. Want to buy a car? This section explains how to compute your periodic X payments.
2. There are 2 parts to a payment, the X which is the amount owed and the X which is the amount charged to
borrow the money.
3. If it is a car or home loan the typical payment period is X.
4. At the beginning of a loan, most of the payment consists of X, but near the term (the end) of the loan most of
