3. Complete the Career Search Assignment (Yellow Work Sheet)
 Click on one of your highest Interest Areas DO NOT USE THE BACK BUTTON . To Navigate use
the X on the right corner.
 Find a career from the lists that you are interested in – On the Yellow worksheet write in
Annual Wage, Hourly Wage, Star Rating and Education – Click on the Career
 Complete the information for at least 1 career
 Click on “X” in the upper right corner to return to the results.
4. Login to PowerSchool








Click on the Reports Tab
Choose CCR/SEOP page
Click on 10th Grade Plan – Fill in Core and Elective Classes
Click on 11th Grade Plan - Fill in Core and Elective Classes
Click on 12th Grade Plan - Fill in Core and Elective Classes
Return to Grades and Attendance
Click on Reports Tab
Click on CCR/SEOP - UPDATE YOUR CAREER GOAL
Raise your hand and have a Counselor Check your CCR/SEOP page

– Start entering your courses in Class Choice.






Complete Registration - Go to Timpview.provo.edu
Click on Counseling – Register >> Click on Class Choice – ½ way down the page
Name: Enter your student number
Password: Enter your birthday mm/dd/yyyy
Step 1 – Students who attend Seminary >> Click on Add Special >> Check Release Time >> Save
Step 2 – Add Core – add appropriate classes for:
 Health - unless you plan to take Physiology in addition to your 3 years of science
 Social Studies – choose required .50 World Civ. or 1.0 AP World History (summer work
required) or AP European History
 English - English 10, English 10 Honors
 Math – choose your next appropriate math class
 Science - choose either Biology or Human Biology (if you took Earth Systems this year)
or Chemistry, CP Chemistry or CE Chemistry (concurrent enrollment)
 Step 3 – Add Electives to complete a full 8 period schedule using your Career Search Worksheet
and program planning guide.
 Step 4 – Add 2.0 credits of alternate class requests – one full year class and two semester
classes
