Reporting to the Director Alumni Relations, with a specific focus on students and ‘new alumni’ (defined as up to 5 years post-graduation), the Senior Alumni Relations Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of a range of programs and services aimed at deepening the relationship between the school and its alumni community, so that they are net promoters of the school as evidenced in tangible metrics, such as international rankings. Key Responsibilities will include: Develop and implement the Student and New Alumni Engagement Strategy Lead the department’s student and new alumni interactions and engagement initiatives Be a proactive contributor to the internal rankings committee/task force Provide support to the Alumni Council and represent the School for the Director, where required. Identify, coordinate and develop milestone events in the student – alumni lifecycle and develop a communications plan around this in line with the student and new alumni strategy Support the alumni volunteers programs Collaborates professionally with the broader MBS community to achieve results Key Selection Criteria: Graduate level qualifications or above in Business, Communications, Marketing or related discipline Demonstrable experience (3+years) gained within a relevant/similar alumni relations/development role Proven experience working with people from diverse cultures, industries, job functions and backgrounds at all levels and career stages First class oral and written communications (including presentation and public speaking) skills Sound understanding of alumni relations programs, processes, policies and services Demonstrable strategic planning and analytical skills Proficiency with databases (CRMs) and advanced experience in MS Office suite of programs What’s in it for you; Great professional team environment Competitive remuneration package School subsidised gym, EAP Program, Health & Well-being Program, NFP Salary Packaging, access to world class Learning & Development programs through our programs.
