ARRIVING

Switch the heating on/ or check is the heating already on:
- In the vestibule there is an electrical cabinet. On the left side of that cabinet is home/absent
switch.
- Push the switch down to home position.
- You don`t need to adjust the room thermostats
2. Check that the cottage is in order after the previous inhabitant. If you have something to notify

REFRIGATOR
Refrigerators’ outlet is in the cupboard above the refrigerator and behind the overhead door. Put the plug
in the outlet or change the switch in the refrigerator to position 3
WASHINGMACINE
Put the plug in the outlet. Turn the faucet upwards and select the best program. The guidebook is in the
cottage folder
SAUNA
Control switches are on the side of the stove: The left switch is the thermostat ( 60 – 80 degrees) and the

right switch is the heating (on/off/timer).
The sauna will start

DISHWASHER

Turn the faucet downwards. Close the faucet when you don`t use the dishwasher
FIREPLACE
There is no fireplace damper. Start the fire little by little. More firewood you will find in the storage. The
key to the storage is on the left side of the fireplace
SMOKING
Is not permitted inside
CLOTHES DRYER
The clothes dryer is in the vestibule. Do not use the clothes dryer and sauna at the same time
BEFORE YOU START THE HOMEJOURNEY

Carry the ashes from the fireplace to the barrel on the yard. The bucket is on the left side
Ventilate the beddings and the carpets
Vacuum and sweep the floors
Wipe the dust off
Empty the dish washer. Close the faucet
Carry the trash to the shelter
Make sure that the faucets of the washing machine and dishwasher are closed
Take the refrigerators’ plug off from the outlet/ or turn the switch to 0 position. Leave the doors of
the refrigerator open.
Lock all the doors
Switch the lights off ( also from the outside)
Turn the home/absent switch upwards (to position absent)
Check that everything is all right in the cottage. If the property maintenance have to do an extra
