i. Operation Bow Wow, campaign for Mike to get a guide dog
ii. Meeting Thursday, February 19th 12:15 in Serra 215 (would
like 3-5 delegates from each sorority)
b. Trent – Beta Theta Pi Social Chair
i. Welcome into the new semester and congrats to exec members
for doing an awesome job
ii. Will be coming into chapter meetings to hand out flowers
c. Brooke Miller – Kappa Alpha Theta
i. NEDA walk Feb. 28th - Theta already has a team and we would
love to see more sorority women out there
ii. Good way for new members to get involved
iii. Everyone who signs up gets free shirt, free tote, and free 30
minute yoga session before the walk

i. Greek Guidelines Revision
1. Ask your chapter to come up with parts they want to
talk about
2. Submissions due Feb. 22nd by 10pm so we can talk to
administration
3. Actual revision meeting will be either march 7th or 14th
(try to have 2 people from each chapter in attendance)
ii. Greek Awards Announcement – Katie Modesitt from Order of
Omega, recommend anyone involved in Dean’s Trophy to get
involved
iii. Black Student Union
1. Discussion on Blackness Feb. 17th 6pm in UC Forum A
around activism and academia in black community
2. Step Show Feb. 25th 7-9pm in UC Forums
3. Black Lives Matter Speaker Feb. 27th 12pm in Salomon
Hall

1. Would love more diversity on GPD! Bring it up again
2. What does GPD do? Different chapters help with
marketing for different events, create a calendar of
events, help with Greek Week philanthropy, and help
with campus wide events
ii. Email me with your philanthropy information if you haven’t
already
iii. City of Refuge Greek Week Philanthropy – organization in
Ghana to help out a city with a library and school supplies
f. VP Administration: Samantha Wallo
i. UGA Retreat was a blast! Biggest takeaway: accountability
ii. Rosters are all in!
iii. Panhellenic Scholarships coming soon
g. VP Health and Wellness: Morgan Offenheiser
i. Anonymous link for sexual assault letter submissions has been
taken down but this won’t affect trainings this semester

i. Please encourage UGA participants to fill out the post UGA
assessment Qualtrics survey! We welcome feedback and would
love to hear about your experience. The survey launched
Tuesday and will be open for two weeks!
ii. Interested in getting to know the new Assistant Director of
Fraternity and Sorority Life? Join Katelin for a Greek Meet and
Eat next Tuesday 2/17 before men's bid day begins 12pm-1pm
on the SLP Courtyard. (Please bring your lunch) or Monday,
2/23 Greek Coffee Chat 10am-11am. Please meet outside Tu
Mercado! An Evite was sent to Presidents, but any member of
the community is welcome!
iii. USD It's On US campaign! Thank you to those that participated
in the video last Thursday. USD invites all students to take the
anonymous Sexual Assault Campus Climate Survey. Survey can
be found here: http://www.sandiego.edu/sasurvey
iv. NPC Spotlight: In 1902, all 26 NPC member organizations
unanimously agreed to pursue certain procedures and ethics
that lead to their mutual functions. I would like to highlight one
today.
v. NPC Unanimous Agreement (UA) X: This UA, pimary purpose
is to protect the single sex status of our organizations. We have

an ongoing responsibility to publicly demonstrate this through
recruitment, education, and Inculcation of members into our
organizations without need or dependence on others.
vi. This applies to men's recruitment. As fraternity recruitment is
underway please respect their recruitment process. While they
should not be involved with sorority recruitment, education or
new member activities, women should not participate in their
fraternity recruitment events. Please remind and educate your
members!

a. Feedback regarding VP Recruitment Operations - motion to discuss:
Alpha Chi Omega, second: Alpha Delta Pi
i. Alpha Delta Pi – we brought up with our district advisors and
talked about considering changing bylaws so it could be dealt
with internally in the future
ii. Alpha Pi Sigma – nothing to add
iii. Alpha Phi – we don’t feel like she needs to be voted out of her
position
iv. Alpha Chi Omega – we don’t feel she needs to be removed, we
know it’s hard
v. Gamma Phi Beta – we don’t feel she needs to be voted off and
we appreciated that she stood up in front of everyone
vi. Kappa Alpha Theta – we appreciate her standing up
vii. Kappa Delta – we understand where she was coming from
viii. Kappa Kappa Gamma – we understood her actions
ix. Sigma Theta Psi – we had the same feelings as everyone else
