2015 SADC GENDER PROTOCOL SUMMIT AND
AWARDS
MEDIA CONTENT APPLICATION
This award recognises in-depth gender aware media coverage on any one of the
28 targets of the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development. All submissions
must be published or broadcast between 1 January and 31 December 2013. News
items are not eligible. Only feature stories; opinion and analysis; television
and radio documentaries and current affairs programmes are eligible.
This award will be adjudicated by genre: radio; television; print/online and
photojournalism. The highest scoring submission from the four winners will
proceed to the regional summit in South Africa.

Awareness Index. The rating will be verified by judges. Please rate 1 to 10 where
