What would you like to change in our practice and why?
(below are all the responses we received direct from the questionnaire)
Nothing.
Topless receptionists and dispensers please.
None always functional and courteous.
Don’t know.
Quicker appointment times not having to wait as long.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Long wait always.
Appointments are hard to come by “ie” waiting a week for one
however this is also understandable.
Nothing
It seems fine, thank you.
The welcome screen is somewhat unhealthy, folk coughing and
spluttering into their hands, use screen next person hands on straight
away etc. Nice to be welcomed by someone when you’re not feeling
too well. Could we have some new chairs in waiting room please,
present ones are quite dirty and uncomfortable.
Perhaps longer hours eg 8am slot? Other than that very little change,
pleased with practice and all service. Thank you.
Some evenings and weekend appointments for people who find it
difficult getting time off work.
Open weekends and late nights.
N/A – All good.
Would like prescritption – or rather medicines to last for 2 months
rather than a month. Having to renew every month when on
continuous medicines is a bit of a pain.
Don’t know do not come here often enough.
No suggestions it works well.
None very happy with existing service, I feel this practice is currently
extremely well and efficiently run – no complaints!
No.
Possible opening or GP available at weekends / Bank Holidays.
Satisfied.
A larger waiting room upstairs.
Nothing because the practice helps you feel better.
No Change. Very good.
Nothing.
Nothing I have had no problems with the surgery, and get
appointments when needed. The staff are brilliant.
It would be nice not be asked if my appointment is an emergency every
time I ring to make appointment.
Sometimes waiting times can be longer than expected which impacts
the rest of the day. A couple more things for children to do whilst
waiting.
Sat morning or evening appointments reduce the waiting times. Steam
clean the seats.
Update the waiting area to make it more comfortable and child
friendly.
Disorganised reception – Better systems for identifying prescriptions,
improved communication skills including being more pleasant to
patients.
Only think I can think of is waiting times could be more on time as I can
wait 30-60 minutes.
Nothing.
Making it easier to get an appointment.
Nothing really.
Just joined practice – to early to tell.
Nothing.
More phlebotomy downstairs, and one doctor upstairs – more room
for patients waiting.
Phlebotomist on Thursday mornings.
Open on Saturday mornings for people that work. Same having time off
work in week.
Saturday opening.
The provision of a better reception area – such as that in Bridgnorth.
Current reception is not adequate see below.
Nothing! The whole team are excellent and much appreciated.
Calming music in the waiting room would be better.
Evening practice for people who work a distance away (ie Hereford)
and don’t get home till after 6. Abolition of the practice of putting the
patients illnesses on their prescriptions. Surely this is a breach of
patient doctor confidentiality.
Nothing. Very satisfied. They have served us very well!
Better music for the waiting room plus some quality mags.
Nothing.
I am happy with the practice as it is.
Nothing at this time.
Nothing at the present time.
I am very happy with the services we receive.
Perfectly happy with the efficient and excellent attention given to me
by all the staff whom I see cannot think of any change desired.
Could do with bit more room in reception area. Have seen mums with
push chair struggling to get through people into waiting room. Know
this would be difficult.
I can think of nothing to change, I am very happy with things as they
are.
Quite happy with everything.
Not a lot, pleasant accessible well run.
A new up to date modern surgery.
I would like a shorter period of time for re-ordering prescriptions.
What would your priorities for the practice be? Explain
your reasons for these.
(below are all the responses we received direct from the questionnaire)
Don’t know.
Being able to see a doctor when I need to.
Continue good practice in enabling appointments in “emergency”
situations (perhaps “urgent” would be better word).
Would like to ask Dr Carter to be a little more relational rather than a
peaking text book please. otherwise the practice runs well, staff are
kind polite and efficient no other comments. Thank you.
All V satisfactory.
All Good.
1. Availability of doctor. 2. Collection of any prescriptions at surgery
as currently convenience 3. General advice from Dr - receptionist
office: More efficient use of doctors time
GP & Staff very good keep it the same.
Satisfied.
Priority would be – being able to see a doctor when needed (so far
ok!).
We normally use it for children.
Good as it is.
Quality doctors. Available appointments.
Appointment waiting times. It is difficult with the facilities available to
keep children entertained when waiting times go over expected. I
appreciate its not easy to keep appointments on time but this would
help greatly.
Improve reception organisation. Improve waiting areas – Brighten up,
update information more regular, childrens facilities.
Easier appointments. It is very hard to get an appointment when you
need to see a doctor.
Limited waiting time.
I think doctors could use more help to ease the pressure.
Weekend opening as well to increase accessibility. Very good practice.
People that are more sick should take priority.
Development of services available in practice – minor operations, to
avoid travel to Shrewsbury/Telford. Redevelopment and relocation of
practice building nearer to car parking. Greater use of skype/facetime
to interact with doctors and nurses. It would also be good if the
practice was all on one level or a lift was installed.
No reduction in the services offered.
To have the confidence that they were there when needed as is the
case now.
The staff and doctors are very good with their assistance at all times
any new diagnosis is sorted out ASAP.
Being able to see a doctor or nurse within three days.
A cheerful welcoming atmosphere. Good medical care and not to feel
intimidated.
The priorities at present seem perfectly satisfactory.
Everything suits me as it is.
Poss use of computer which can be a barrier to Dr/Pt driven by
bureaucrats.
Retain our local GP Practice so that the high quality personal service we
receive may continue.
More slots for appointments.
