Objective of the activity Materials Needed Students will keep a journal of what they have done throughout the week with Flat Stanley. Flat Stanley book Flat Stanley Cut-out Journal worksheets Markers/Crayons Camera (if using pictures) Teacher Directions I will begin by reading Flat Stanley to the class. We will discuss the different places that he went. I will explain to the class that the will be making their own Flat Stanley, and keeping a journal of everything they have done that week with him. Student Directions Students will create their own unique Flat Stanley. They will cut out their Flat Stanley. They will be in charge of keeping up with Flat Stanley for a week and writing in their journal what they do each day of the week. They will have the option to take pictures of them and Flay Stanley, or they can draw a picture of what they did that day to go along with the journal entry.
