HUGE thank you goes out to the Hudson Benchwarmers who raised over $30,000 in their adopt-ahelmet initiative: “Helmet Blitz 2014” to purchase helmets with newer technology for all high school players at all levels. They found local business and individual sponsors to support the program. In addition, the Helmet Blitz 2014 had a “Play-it-Forward” component in which every HHS football player made a commitment to “play-it-forward”. The HHS football players committed to invest their time, talents & mentorship in the Hudson youth football programs and with the Hudson Boosters organization.
