**Polk County Ranch Horse show Youth Discount**
All show fees are ½ price for youth classes!
This is a new opportunity at the Polk County Fair to participate, watch, and cheer on competitors in some traditional ranch
horse style classes! The Northern Stock Horse Organization is running the show, bringing the “Ranch Horse” to the Polk
County Fair. There are classes for the whole family including the youth and novice horse show competitors.

13) Leadline-Youth
14) Ranch Rail Pleasure W/T – Adult
15) Ranch Rail Pleasure W/T – Youth
16) Ranch Roping – Adult
17) Ranch Roping – Novice
18) Ranch Roping – Youth
WPR Only Warm-Up
19) WPR Grade 1
20) WPR Grade 2

Youth – 18 years of age and under as of January 1st, 2015
Novice – Has not shown, judged, trained, or assisted in training a horse for remuneration, monetary or otherwise.
 Has zero (0) lifetime performance points in any non-timed, judged performance events from the following
associations: AQHA, APHA, AHA, PtHA, or ApHC
 Has zero ($0) lifetime earnings in the NRHA, NRCHA, or NCHA
Adult – Available to any adult competitors.
*Youth and Novice Divisions are any legal bit, one handed or two. Refer to 2015 NSHO rulebook for legal equipment.
*Ranch Rail Pleasure was previously called Ranch Riding, updated to match 2015 AQHA terminology.
*Ranch Horse Riding was previously called Ranch Horse Pleasure, updated to match 2015 AQHA terminology.
* Placings at the Polk County Ranch Horse Show do not count towards NSHO year end awards.
*WPR Classes are World Para Reining Approved Classes and riders must be WPR members. Please call Joe 715-4170477 if you plan on riding in any WPR class before the show day. Information on WPR is available online at
