Reading: Daily Focus: This week we will continue to practice routines for Readers Workshop. We will be practicing the habits of a good listener. Students will ask questions during and after reading as a way thinking about what they read. Writing: Daily Focus: In Writers Workshop students will continue to write, with an emphasis on including a beginning, middle, and end. Students will learn about writing for a purpose as well as rereading our writing to check for clarity and completeness. Permission slips will be sent home soon! We will be having a campus-wide field trip to the Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday, October 31, 2013. We will be celebrating the first turn of our race!
