teach other basic subjects.

The Mexican Government is mandating that English be taught in all the public
schools. This is an incredible opening for TESL teachers to enter the country to
provide a much needed service to locals. Teachers and interns will have free
lodging near the school and have direct oversight from the local missionary in
acculturation and spiritual care and involvement in the local organic church.
The greatest opportunity exists in youth ministry among the local teens. The
interested candidate would spend time hanging out and getting to know the
young people to develop meaningful relationships leading to opportunities for
discipleship. Teaching ESL, computers and crafts are good contact points.

Opening for a volunteer native English speaker to teach ESL at Phenom Penh Bible
School. Teachers will be trained in the material to be used and the teaching will
emphasize reading, comprehension and writing skills.
A trained TESOL teacher is needed to run a reading room in Thies and to teach
English literature (14-16 hours/week). The city is growing and now has two
universities and three high schools. English is of prime interest among the young
people.
