Timeline

October 26-31 – Photos accepted via e-mail or at Scott County Animal Hospital

Noon October 31 - Photos due to Allison Durci at scahvetsphotos@gmail.com

November 2 – Voting by panel of community members

November 2 – Winner revealed on Facebook and website

Eligibility

Photos will only be accepted from CURRENT CLIENTS of Scott County Animal Hospital, all others will be disqualified.

Prizes

Prize will be given for 1 st place. The winner of the Howl-O-Ween photo contest will be determined by a panel of known members of the Eldridge community.

The prize winner will receive a calendar.

Copyright

Please do not submit a photograph taken by someone other than you or someone in your family. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted.

Number of Entries

One entry per person please!

Ownership/Use Rights

Photographers retain the copyright to their photographs; but by entering into the contest, photographs agree to have their submitted photographs displayed on the Scott County Animal

Hospital website, social media sites and calendar without any fee or other form of compensation. The photographer also agrees the Scott County Animal Hospital may display winning photos on their website, and may retain copies of the photos for archival purposes.

Entries (including non-winning entries) may be displayed or used for other promotional materials.

How to Enter

Digital photos are submitted by sending the photo and photo form to Allison Durci at scahvetsphotos@gmail.com

. Make sure the form is filed out completely and accurately and that you enter your picture into the correct category. Photos entered into the incorrect category will be disqualified. Clients may also bring their pets dressed in costume to the clinic in the designated time frame to have their picture taken at the clinic. The entry form will still need to be filled out completely and accurately.

Requirements for Photos

 Photos must be horizontal orientation.

High resolution digital file with at least 3,000 pixels on one side.

NO Borders or frames may be added to images.

NO watermarks, signatures, or copyright notices may be added to images. All winning images will be displayed with the photographer’s name.

 Artistic filters are NOT permitted.

May use red-eye removal and spot editing.

Images may be cropped and rotated as necessary as long as the necessary rectangular format is maintained.
